What a month!

It has been a long time since we've posted anything on our blog!!! It has been a crazy month! Attached is a brief summary of all that's been happening. Pictures to come as soon as possible :)

Main things during the week that we do:
  • Every Tuesday night and Saturday, we have had Dakoda's baseball games! Baseball season is about over - our last day is April 11th. Maybe after baseball - everything will calm down a little :)
  • Every Wednesday night is Tennis! Dakoda is loving tennis, as this is the first season for this sport! Tennis ends April 8th...
  • Every other Saturday, Dakoda has had therapy, as well Electric Wheelchair Soccer (and baseball too!) Let's just say, these Saturdays are CRAZY!!!
  • Dakoda has therapy on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.... Your probably thinking... This poor kid has got to be tired! We feel the same way, but he really likes to be involved in everything :)
  • Jason and Allyson, both are leaders in our high school youth group at church. Youth service is every Sunday night, and we meet in our individual high school small groups before the youth service!
Those are just the main things going on throughout the week.... on top of that, we had a fun month! Dakoda was on spring break, concerts, parties, etc. See below for all the fun things we had going on last month - pictures are to come :)

  • Feb. 27 - Allyson went to the Chris Tomlin concert at the Jobing.com arena. While Allyson was at the concert, Dakoda and Jason were attending Sabrina's graduation (Jason's sister).
  • March 3 - Allyson's old high school (Greenway) went to the state championships in basketball! A good friend of ours, Cedric Pittman, was a senior on the team... we were glad to cheer him on :)
  • March 5 - Allyson is involved in a new bible study at church "One Month to Live." It is an amazing book! This is every Thursday, ending on April 9th.
  • March 9 - 13 - Dakoda was on Spring Break! We did something fun with him every day, we had a great time!
  • March 11 - Jason, Allyson and Dakoda, went to Dave & Busters. It was our good friend, Karrie Thomas's Birthday, and we were glad we got to spend it with her!
  • March 20 - We got to go see a preview of the Luke Air Days Show. Jason and Allyson also had a good-bye party for our youth pastor and his family.
  • March 21 - Makayla and Madison's Birthday (These are our niece's/cousins... Allyson's step brother Dustin's girls!)
  • March 22 - This was the last night that Aaron and Karrie Thomas would be at Parkway :( (Aaron and Karrie Thomas have been our youth pastor since Jason and Allyson started youth ministry at Parkway - 2 1/2 years ago! They have become great friends of ours, so this was an especially hard night! They recently accepted the position as Youth Pastor at Flat Irons Community Church in Boulder, CO. We were sad to see them leave, but we know that they are following God's plan for their lives! We are excited to hear all about it!)
  • March 25 - Jason, Allyson and Brody went over to Adam and Brandi Aragon's house (these are another set of really close friends of ours), to BBQ and say "Good-bye" one last time - to Aaron and Karrie :(
  • March 27 - Allyson and Brody took Karrie and her kiddos to the airport :( We miss the Thomas family soooo much! Can't wait to visit them :)
  • March 27 - Our whole family was supposed to go to a concert at the US Airways center! Dakoda got sick, so just Allyson, Terri and Brody went. We got to see Addison Road, Tenth Avenue North, Hawk Nelson, Jeremy Camp and Mercy Me! It was an amazing concert and the best part was, IT WAS ONLY $10 to get in!!! Well worth it... and we had amazing seats too!
  • March 31 - Brody started pre-school at Moon Valley High School. This is the school that Auntie Ashley works at! The child development class is running a pre-school for a month. He will attend every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for two hours each morning! Yesterday was his first day and he loved it! He will officially start pre-school in the fall!!!
I wasn't exaggerating when I said it has been BUSY! We love to spend time with our family and friends~ These will be the times of our lives that we remember the most :)

MORE TO COME.....
