Last night we received a call from Todd. It was a little odd, being that we had just talked to him on Monday, President's Day. He had time to call us on President's Day, because his day was a little more relaxed with it being a holiday.
When he called last night, he was calling to let us know that he was okay, but also to let us know of a situation that has happened at the Fort Leonard Wood Base. Fort Leonard Wood is the training place where he and many others go for basic. Apparently, two soldiers have died this month from meningitis. Please pray that they are all being tested and watched carefully, as this looks like it may be something to be concerned with.
